The word literature is derived from a Latin word litterea (a plural of the word letter).Literal Meaning:
The literal meaning of the word "Literature" is "things made from the letters".Definition:
The art of written work about the science, usually of the human sciences.Forms of Literature:
The common classification of literature leads to the two most commonly known forms as mentioned:- Fiction
- Non Fiction
Fiction deals with the creation of those imaginative creations which does not exist in real. It can also be defined as the personified scriptures about a particular thing. A fictitious script may include a couple of imaginations and can be used to describe the thoughts of a mind. It is not always that the person, other than the one who develped the fiction, agree to the point of view of the person and also they may not get what a type of description is given in an implicit way through the flow of words. For example; stories about the spider man, bat man and super man are fictions
What does a "non Fiction" art mean?
Non Fiction form of the literature deals with the description of the facts and all those phenomenon which really happen in the real world. It is about the descriptive statements narrating the behaviours of the nature that made some events in the past, present or the future. In simple words all the literature besides that of the fiction is non fiction or the non fictitious art. For example; social sciences are almost non fictitious or a biography of a person is non fictitious.
Techniques of Literature:
The techniques of describing literature is majorly divided into two class,- Poetry
- Prose
Poetry
The art of expressing the feelings and emotions in a distinguished style and rhythm to give the words an intense tone of thoughts along with sensory nature is termed as peotry. Poetry does not follow the rules of grammer. Because the feelings are let there to be expressed as free of boundries to convey a message in a convenient way.Prose
A way of writing in which no matrical structures are used. Its an ordinary form of writing a language which does neither contain the nature of rhythm, like in poetry and nor that of a verse.
